ALL ABOUT ME

I am a UW-Stevens Point graduate with a degree in Trombone Performance. Following graduation, I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps Band. There, I travelled and performed with exceptional musicians around the world. After two tours of duty, I decided to begin the next chapter of my life as a teacher. In 2016, I graduated with a degree in Instrumental Music Education from the University of Washington and was offered a position as Band Director at Wheatland Center School in Burlington, Wisconsin. This dream job affords me the opportunity to teach beginning musicians the joy of music, and develop them into confident and capable student musicians ready to enter high school. Each student has a unique learning style, and I'm privileged to take on the responsibility to find out what that is and adapt my lessons accordingly.
